Ifbyphone provides enhanced voice applications to businesses built on a N-TIER LAMP, Asterisk and licensed VoiceXML environment. In this position you will configure and build custom Asterisk AGI modules in PHP, code PHP/MySQL/Ajax modules as part of our user portal, work with a team on our dynamic VoiceXML generation technologies and participate in the support and administration of our infrastructure which consist of Linux, Windows and Cisco components.  Knowledge of Linux HA a plus.

Responsibilities:

50 percent of your time will be spent coding and 50 percent will be spent on Asterisk and Linux support.

Asterisk AGI module development in PHP
PHP/MySQL coding using HTML_Quickforms and PEAR modules
SQL query coding and optimization
PHP command line/batch/cron programming 
Day to day Linux system administration and monitoring 
Cisco switch and router configuration

Requirements:

Asterisk installation and AGI programming experience
PHP and MySQL coding experience
DHTML, Javascript, AJAX and CSS experience
Linux system administration and Linux HA experience
MySQL DBA experience a plus

Applicants for this position must have a minimum of 3 years of Asterisk, Linux administration, PHP, PEAR, XML, AJAX, CSS and MYSQL experience. VoiceXML and MySQL DBA experience a plus.

You must also have experience in supporting Linux, Asterisk/IP Phone System, SER + any networking skills (e.g. Cisco,(CCNA), TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) would be beneficial to your application. If you have any IVR, Telecoms, Ethereal, Apache, Perl, MySQL or Netmon experience this would also be advantageous. Development is something thatâ€™s currently not
